Volunteering is a fun and easy way to explore your interests and passions. Volunteers who give their time, energy, and skills are a vital part of achieving our mission and goals at ASTOP Sexual Abuse Center.

For those who would like to become involved in community work from the comfort of your own home, ASTOP Sexual Abuse Center may have an opportunity available for you. Become trained in crisis intervention skills that will allow you to help people who utilize ASTOP’s 24-hour crisis line. ASTOP is also seeking volunteer advocates to respond to Emergency Room and Police Department’s. ASTOP volunteer advocates are scheduled to respond to Fond du Lac County and Green Lake County. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in the social services or human services field, or anyone looking to make a positive difference in another person’s life.

Volunteer training will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14th, 2014, from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm, and on Saturday, October 25th, 2014, from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Attendance at ALL three training dates is required.

Anyone (18 or older) interested may contact Angel at ASTOP at 920-926-4452 or [email protected]. Applications can be obtained from the ASTOP office or by clicking here.
